Collectively, RDG has over 40+ years of construction & architectural/engineering experience, with the majority of the last seven years spent on the development of charter schools.
We understand charter schools; specifically, the time sensitive nature of their development, as well as the restrictive price per student the State of Florida is willing to pay, regardless of the location. We believe our experience with the development of charter schools is second to none within Hillsborough County.
Mr. Calkins has experience as a General Contractor and Business Development with a business portfolio which includes multimillion-dollar companies such as Pepsi-Cola, WalMart, Rooms to Go & Racetrac Petrolium, to name a few.
Mr. Calkins brings unparalleled expertise to Compass Charter Schools with his experience in successfully planning, overseeing, and opening 9 charter schools in multiple counties throughout the state of Florida in less than 5 years.
Anivette Read is a highly accomplished project manager with more than 20 years of experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
